FAQ

You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Straight Answers.

Whether you’re new to Land Cruiser ownership or just new to us, here are the answers to the most common questions we get.

General Questions

We focus 90% of our work on Land Cruisers and related Lexus platforms (LX470, GX470, LX570). We occasionally take on 4Runners, Tacomas, or Tundras — but only if the repair aligns with our expertise.

Yes. We use Toyota OEM or high-quality Japanese aftermarket parts. We don’t use generic discount parts unless specifically requested — and even then, we’ll guide you on what’s worth using.

Service & Repair

We prefer to source the parts ourselves to ensure quality and warranty compatibility. If you have high-grade parts (Toyota/Japanese aftermarket), we’ll review and may approve them on a case-by-case basis.

It depends on the model and the service, but here are some typical ranges:

  • Oil Change: $100–$150
  • Brake Job: $300–$600
  • Timing Belt (100 Series): $900–$1,300
  • Head Gasket (80 Series): $2,000–$3,500+

No, but we partner with trusted local body shops and can coordinate that portion of your project.

Restoration & Fabrication

Yes. We specialize in full mechanical restorations — engine, transmission, axles, suspension, drivetrain. We don’t do cosmetic restorations, but we’ll connect you with trusted body shops.

Yes. We offer in-house fabrication for bumpers, rock sliders, roll cages, and off-road upgrades.

Scheduling & Process

No. We need to see the vehicle in person for accurate diagnostics. Once we inspect it, we’ll provide a clear estimate and repair plan.

Here’s our process:

  1. Bring your vehicle in for diagnosis.
  2. We build an estimate and source the necessary parts.
  3. Once parts are in and paid for, we schedule the job.
  4. You get clear updates throughout.

It depends on the scope of work and parts availability. Some services can be done in a day; restorations or major repairs may take longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline upfront.
